Apex is a business consulting company designed to maximize the potential of various businesses. I was approached to create a new logo for them as they launched their business and began offering consulting and training sessions to emerging entrepreneurs. I wanted to reinforce the idea that Apex is a sleek, streamlined company that helps others reach their peak in business. 

Initial Sketches

Before diving into the digitizing process, I first spoke with the client on the phone to gain more insight into their business and what they were looking to communicate through their brand. I then did a series of sketches, got feedback, and did another round of sketches. I digitized a select few, coming up with a final logo that I refined.

Final Logo

I chose a sans serif to communicate the sleekness of the Apex brand, pairing it with a blue color to communicate trust in the business world. The logo mark combines a mountain, arrow, and capital A to draw the eye upwards towards the peak. This is what Apex aims to do with its consulting—helping businesses reach the peak of their success.
