There are three things I love in life: connecting with people, quality design, and rad Mexican food. I have also been known to wear flip-flops everywhere (don’t judge me!). I strive to connect brands and people through the use of visual storytelling. My experience in the areas of logo design, typography, apparel design, branding, interpersonal communication, and public relations are what allow me to cultivate relationships and make people heard. People matter. I believe each person has a unique story that, when told, can benefit the rest of the community. I want to highlight those stories.
If that pesky text box doesn’t line up with the image—don’t worry—I notice it too. I’ll put the effort in to make sure it’s spaced correctly. And for the design details no common person on earth would notice?! Don’t worry, I’ll perfect those too. I shoot for doing my best possible work in all aspects, even if nobody else will notice.
I studied Communication in college, so you bet I think it’s important. I strive to be honest, free, and clear in my communication—that’s what makes the design process more efficient, and what leaves clients most satisfied with their final product.
